Default what is proper apllication instructions for thermoflex plus?

just got my heat press and some thermoflex plus and i was wondering what are the apllication instructions, i know 345 to 350 degrees for 20 seconds, do you peel hot or cold?, after peeling , do you repress again to make sure it sticks well, i just dont want the thermoflex to start coming off after a few washes, any input will be greatly appreciated......

it may vary a little from press-to-press but this werkz4me.

350F - 10-15 Seconds - Medium force - Hot or Cold Peel

never really a need to repress...i find.

but just try it yourself a few times. Its a very user friendly product.

I do 350 deg for 20 sec and do a repress if you have small detail in your design with sharp points. Don't forget to use a teflon sheet when repressing.

Also, I find that the neon green peels better cold as it wants to lift up if peeled hot for some reason. Even when peeled cold, it has some resistance contrary to most ThermoFlex which "peels like butter".

Hope that helps...

We use 350 for 20 seconds with hard pressure, and prolly don't need to repress, but we usually do, especially after a cold-peel.

We've found that black and columbia blue need to be cold peeled, along with one other color that we've tried, but I can't remember now what that color was.

John, i really do not have issues with different colors...last time i tried the last lots anyways. Why do you think there are variations when you apply them ? ,,,curious to know.

I'm not John, but I'll answer anyway.

Sometimes when we try to hot or warm-peel ThermoFlex Plus it wants to come up with the mylar backer. I don't know why this is, but on our last roll of black it did that, and on both of the orders for Columbia blue it's done it to us, along with one other color that I can't think of right now.

BUT, we're considering cold peeling ALL of them on multi-color designs because ThermoFlex Plus is so thin that it streches (a problem Mark never had with Stahls' thicker ThermoFilm), making registration a problem. Even then, tho, he had to cut one design apart yesterday so that everything lined up (on a personal Minnesota Wild shirt that he made).

All other colors hot-peel like butter, tho.
