Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
Hello guys. After a month of looking for an Epson C88 printer in the internet, shoppes and almost everywhere, I was not able to find any. I am in the Philippines right now oh and I also checked Epson Philippines' website but to no avail, they did not/have not released Epson C88 here. Any other recommendation that would do good for heat pressing that would be locally availalble? Thanks.
You guys can give me models and I'll just check them myself if it would be available locally.
Thanks again.

Reason: wrong stuff
not sure what kind of electronic stores you have over there try them to see what they carry then report them baack here. also i think epson R1800 and epson CX5000 are a couple 500 or 5000 not sure
I think Epson and other printers, are marketed under different numbers in various countries. I would contact an Epson dealer in your area...or Epson direct...to see what the compatible printer is
Hi,
You cannot find c88 in the philippines, asian country like philiipines has diffrent name, i think c88 is the same as c87. If you want to use in t-shirt just buy c90 or any printer using durabrite.
I recently got an epson c90 with sub inks but the printout looks bad. the colors aren't right. too much magenta and the other colors seem too light. does anyone here know how to set their epson c90s to print out the right colors?
what ink are you using? If the original ink the settings that usually use by forum members are -15 yellow + 5 cyan + magenta this if for original pigment ink.
Kabayan try to experiment, different sublimation materials different output image. In my sublimation i only use this setting +25 contrast thats for mug and for my necktie i change +25 contrast and +15 brightness.Remember diffrent ink and materials diffrent output.Just experiment and choose what setting you like.
you mean i have to change settings depending on what I'm printing on? hmm ok i guess i'll be spending a lot of time getting things right before i can really start selling. thanks!
is it true though that what comes out printed on sublimation paper looks a little dull and when you start heat pressing it the colors pop out more?

Yes that's true, and also in my observation having a heavy press setting it will came out vibrant and try use some heat tape so that your transfer will not move and avoid shadow effects.
