Default Durebrite ink for 1280? Printer disaster.

I have been printing for months on an Epson 1280 with a bulk system and pigment ink. I got the ink and CIS off of ebay. The CIS was pretty inexpensive and tonight all the yellow ink leaked out because the tube disconnected and broke. This really sucks.
I need to get something going right away. I just wanted to make sure I understand this properly.
The off the shelf Carts for the Epson 1280 are not durabrite right?
I'll probably order the CIS from InkJetFly and have it shipped overnight before I fall too far behind on shipping out shirts. Luckily I had printed out today's shirts right before the CIS broke.
Is there some place to buy prefilled durabrite carts for the epson 1280 instead of getting a CIS?

Thanks. If anyone knows an answer to these questions tonight it would be awesome.

Epson 1280 cartridges are not Durabrite. The ink is Ultrachrome which is not to be cunfused with their Ultrachrome K3 series.

Since the 1280 is a popular printer for transfer/sublimation industry you have many options bulk CIS and a few options on prefiled cartridges with pigment inks. One prefilled solution is from JBL Graphics. A set (1 black & 1 tri-color) is about $70.00. I have not used the ink but have heard some positive comments on their inkjet transfer paper for whites/lights. You may also check with some of the forum sponsors to see if the offer pre-filled and bulk systems.

Good luck
