Default good questions about plastisol transfer and what goes with it !

I wrote this e mail to Badalou but i wanted everyone to see it and post answer too so there it is !!! Hope it will help many people out !!!

My name is Sebastien and Im from Quebec, Canada. I viewed all your video you post on youtube and think their are really great ! I want to ask you some questions directly to you and then I will post my questions in the forum since I think everyone will have the chance to help each other with this post. You seems to be a real pro in the plastisol tranfer so that is why I wanted to ask these question directly to you. I usually write in french so if I make some mistakes , Im sorry !! I will open my business soon and I got somes question regarding the plastisol tranfer.

1-
I wonder how long is a plastisol tranfer good on the paper before transfering it on a shirt ? I ask that because the concept of the business I am building right now is that I print the graphic on the paper and then delivering the graphic to the store, but the transfer paper with the graphic on may be used only 3-4 months after the printing process . I got to do that since the store will not have acces to a computer /printer. So is there any specific ink and transfer paper i must use ? how many time a transfer last on the transfer paper ?

2-
Another question now, is it possible to print plastisol tranfer from the bottom of the shirt to the side ? the real question is do I have to print in front of the shirt all the time like you do in your videos or it is ok to print on the side - from the front to the side- from the back to the side- etc etc. I ask this because some of my graphics will start from the bottom front of the t-shirt and get to the collar but will not be centered. I want to have the freedom to print where i want to , not just in the front 2 inch bottom the colar. Is it ok ? what technique I must use to do that ?

3-
I saw the video from youtube for the CIS system ink for the Epson C88+ printer and it is great by the way. I wonder , can i print some white on a colored shirt ? If I got let say a black shirt, and I want to print a graphic that got white in it , does the printer and CIS system ok with that ? I know that the transfer paper is important depending on what color is the shirt, so how many transfer paper type is out there depending on the shirt color ?

4- I saw in your videos that you are using a Mighty press heat press. What size should i choose for my heat press since i want to make some long graphic sometimes ? 16X16 ? more than that ?

5-
does the C88+ can do long printing images ?? Is it a good printer ? does the CIS system is good for a long time ? Is there some things I should know about this printer ??

thats is for now !!! thank you verry verry much for taking the time to read me and hepl me out !! I really appreciate it !! I really hope this post will help out as mush people as it can !

To answer question #2, many Plastisol and other types of transfers will adhere reasonably well over seams and stitching. You may press the transfer onto whichever area of the shirt you like.
