Default problem with ironall for darks

Hi new kid here. I pressed my first ironall for darks, and was left with nothing. You could barely see the print. I watched Lous video and followed the directions. I printed with HP Vivera ink. Does anyone have any pointers?

I was also wondering does anyone use Hanes Sublimation maker with Vista? I have emailed them about 10 times now to ask if it operates with Vista and have not gotten a response, cannot download the free trial from the website either.

Thanks

Not sure about the HP ink. I used Epson pigmented ink and color turned washed out looking. What I think is happening is the opaque is over done at 375F for 25 seconds. Because the unprinted area became darker instead of white. I said that because when I cut down the time to 10 seconds the color did not look washed out. The unprinted area is whiter compared to the shirt pressed for 25 seconds. It could also been due to the different printer I used in that pressing. I used Oki laser printer. BTW I just remembered. I did not let the ink get fully dried when I pressed the opaque on the shirt.

Take a look at this comparison: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/p169016-post38.html

Regarding the Hanes Sublimation. Did you check their website for an upgrade to work with Vista? Just a thought.

Hi Sandy,
If you tell us exactly the process you are doing it may give us an idea of what is going wrong
