Unhappy screen printing transfers for caps please help!

I am trying to screen print transfers for caps, and I am having inconsistant results. Once I print the transfer I run it through powder adhesive, then semi cure it. Then do the heat press and cold peel procedure. When I start peeling the paper away is when I'm having problems. It is very stuck to the fabric and hard to peel, somtimes peeling the image off or leaving paper stuck to the ink. Also i am using regular plastisol instead of transfer ink which may be the problem. Any hints, words of wisdom, or celestial guidance would be great!!

hello, you may be to hot on your transfer machine or you may need to adjust your pressure, you must also thump the excess adhesive off the tranfer after you dip it. if you are using adhesive your ink is fine. you need the teflon barrier between the transfer and your heating element. if you dont have that it can heat your transfer unevenly. good luck.

Thanks for the info Brent. I went for a "thwack" instead of a "thump" and it didn't stick like it was.
Cheers!
