Default Fading transfers

I bought C88 printer and got the Everlast transfer paper, which I do like MUCH better as far as feel and no cracking. But the transfers actually are fading MORE with washing than they were with the old HP printer. I looked at some previous threads that say it will fade if you use TOO MUCH ink, I was thinking maybe I had made the opposite mistake. Also does it make a difference as far as hot or cold peel as to how much it will fade? Thanks for any suggestions you all may have !!!

If you're using an epson, make sure you're printing on the text or text/photo setting. photo or best quality photo lay down far too much ink, and it'll wash right out.
