Default DuracottonHT Issue

Well, not a huge issue. I've noticed that when I preheat the shirt for 5 seconds or so, the transfer becomes more difficult to peel. I'm peeling hot in a quick, smooth motion. If I preheat, I almost always get white specks at the end of the peel...The same effect that you get when the temp is too low. I'm pressing at 15 seconds at 405-410* at medium/heavy pressure. I tried waiting the 1.5 seconds that the instructions specify and the effect is worse.

Using the same temp, time and pressure, if I do not preheat, the transfer peels easier and clean. Again, I'm peeling fast and smooth and just as soon as I can get the press swung away.

DuracottonHT users: Are you preheating your shirts? What are your times and temps.

That's what I'm doing. I was just curious as to why it is like that. Preheating seems to make my ImageClip prints peel cleaner. Just the opposite with DuracottonHT.

Could the extra heat from preheating be crystalizing the ink? I suppose too long of a press time could do the same thing also.
