Default scroching, I think?

So, when I try to press a shirt wear the seams or collar are under the press, those areas appear to have more shine then the rest of the shirt. Is this scorching? Also, I need to print some shirts today and do not have time to wait for a teflon pillow, if this is what I need (i.e. this is an issue of raised surfaces). What can I use as a substitute?

Ryan

you can use a mouse pad to raise the fabric if obstructions are in the way.

Hi Ryan, I use the mouse pad route also but another thing is to make sure to use a teflon sheet or parchment paper over the shirt while you press.

I have been using teflon sheets and I am still getting this result, am I doing something wrong?

You can try parchment paper, teflon sometimes will leave a shine and parchment will not. also as far as lifting the fabric if you do not have a mousepad to use you can also just use smooth card board. hope this helps.
