Default newbie question...What Material do I use for a hat press?

I happened to run across a Hat Press. Name of the press may be National Screen Printing Equip Inc. I played around with the cheap transparent paper that you get at your local store. But I was wondering what is the best materials to use on a white or dark color hat? Is there other ways/materials instead of paper? Thank you for taking the time to respond.

You could use professional inkjet transfer paper (several links in the FAQ at the top of this section)

If you have a vinyl cutter, you could use cut vinyl on hats depending on the design.

you will never get a professional press with paper from local store. you have to get a professional level..check with our forums for choices. It will depend on the material, color etc to decide which is right. There is inkjet and there is color laser jet and as Rodney points out...you can use heat press vinyl..
