Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
There is a company out there who sold me some decent transfer paper in the past - ironically while I was on their website i found a link here and unltimately found out about some better paper. Anyway this company turned around and placed charges on my credit card several months later and has been nothing but rude to me in reference to refunding my money (the owner keeps whining about how he's a small business and has a mortgage to pay) - Anyway just as a heads-up I wanted to share this experience with others. For what it's worth.
I won't name the company directly.

This is why keeping receipts is mandatory. I recently had some shirts printed up and I requested an invoice the same day the order was placed. I had it forwarded to my e-mail just to ensure that there are no confusions or mistakes. You should always remember that business comes first.
I hope you were successful in getting the issue resolved.
If you were over charged for services undelivered you can freely name them.
Doing a charge back is the best way to get your money back. Yes its a 30 day wait but you will get it in the end.
soo i'm i'll little slow. who is it or any direction on finding out.
Think Ironall.....
Not saying this didn't happen...it certainly is possible...but I've dealt with them a bit and have had no problems.
I think there are quite a few folks on this forum that have dealt with them without issues. But, if people are having legitimate issues, that aren't getting resolved, I think it is important that we find out about it.
There was a problem posted on this forum about another company, that is one of the sponsors of this forum, and after both sides were presented it seemed that both sides could have done a better job.
All I'm saying is..pay attention but don't be too quick to overreact.

I won't name the company directly, but I will say that their name rhymes with
"BooGilfordMoto"
because you seem to be rather new here I will be gental. I know the company you are trying to bash and you may have your reasons and as we have had this discussion many times about bashing companies and you were all probably not aware of it. The first thing you need to do is make sure you did not order this paper in the first place. In my years of dealing with them I have never heard of them not giving a refund for bad product. If you have an issue then you should do it the professional way and that is to talk to either John or Kathy about your situation. You are also welcomed to use my name (Lou) and if you don't know who i am then just ask. I am for the most part one of the biggest supporters of the product they sell. I have they had issues, with them also yes. And I make them aware of such and they usually take care of the problem. And I have stood up for forum members that have had issues with them also. I will also let you know that i will convay to them that they have a customer on the forum who has isses with them and they should do what they can to make that issue go away. In other words do the right thing. They and others including myself, don't need to have someone complain on the forum unless the problem is not resolved. That means you talk to them first. By the way what is the better paper? lou

Thanks for the comments. I actually have tried to deal with them the professional way and to be honest i was treated very rudely. i have dealt with them sucessfully in the past and their product was pretty good - i know shop with Coastal.
The particulars are that my cousin was working on a tee shirt project and I suggested that he buy his paper from "NewMilford" and he did. He asked for overnight delivery and somehow he ended up with two packages instead of one. He claims that he spoke with John and was told to go ahead and keep it until he needed it and pay for it later. My cousin has a different name from me, a different address (in another city), phone number and credit card from me. Somehow months later I got charges on my credit card. I called "NewMilford" and was talked to in a very nasty way because they wanted my cousin to now pay for the paper that they sent him and they insisted that I was somehow responsible for his purchase. I was argued with, called a liar and basically treated in such a way that I personally would never deal with them again - even if they started selling paper for a penny a sheet. For some reason they won't understand; even after looking at our history of business that I have always paid up front for my purchases, that I am not responsible for someone else's behavior even if the are my cousin. My cousin says that if they send him a postage paid box he will be happy to return the unopened package of paper. He doesn't feel like he should have to pay to ship something that he did not order in the first place.
So I try not to make it a habit to bash people - but the treatment I received from them was unbelievable.
I am very familiar with you LOU - i've seen a few of your videos and read many of your comments throughout this forum. I'm a new member - but I've been hanging around reading for a while now. I appreciate your comments - and all the help you (and others) have given me in my tee shirt business.
I hope that covers it - oh yeah - I was the dummie that did use a DEBIT card. now i know better. And they eventually said that they would refund my money - but my point is that in business I believe that when you do someone right they'll tell 3 people, but when you do somebody wrong they'll tell 100 people - well I'm telling !
Rather than start a thread entitled "companies that suck" which just focuses on negative experiences, it might be better to focus on positive experiences you've had with companies.
Starting a thread to rant about a specific company often comes off as "company bashing", which we don't allow here.
While it's great (and encouraged) to share your experiences with a company (positive or negative), starting a thread about one company makes it seem like you have an axe to grind.
Since we have no idea what happened in your phone conversations, it's not possible to know which complaint threads are real and which are from competitors, trying to discredit another companies products.
I'm not questioning the validity of your issue at all. Others have had issues with the same company and others have had great service from the same company.
I'm just suggesting that there may be better avenues for you to get the issue resolved.
I agree with you Rodney, approach and tact are everything. I think it's important to hear about fellow Forums member experiences ( both good and bad), but it needs to be presented in a tactful and fair manner. Good luck to all ....... JB
I would personally like the removal of Moto from your complaint as I am not involved. A good reason to be careful what you write as it could be harmful to the innocent.
Drew, we hope you understand all the reasoning above. I think David has a point as you included part of his company name in your comment and you could cause him damage when he had no part in your problem. I think he was being nice. You should do as he requested.

You guys have made very good points and I won't continue to press this issue. I admit that I may have been 'grinding an axe'. True there are very many great experiences that I have had with several companies in my short 2 years experience selling tee shirts. I appreciate the 'expert counsel' that I have received here. Once again you guys at the forum have helped me to see the light.
In retrospect, I must admit that overall my experience with this particular company has been good. I guess everyone is entitled to make a mistake. I am still pretty disappointed but I guess I wouldn't want to gain the disapproval of the membership here, whom I respect a great deal.
Aditionally I want to apologize to Moto for the accidental reference - that was pretty thoughless.
In closing I want to thank you guys for allowing me to make my newcomer mistakes and not simply removing my thread or revoking my membership here.
