Default What is better Quality? Screen Printed or Heat Applied Videoflex (or similar)

Hello

Newbie here so bear with me! :-)

If I was to do some shirts (White writing onto a Blue Shirt) - what is the better quality (lasts longer) - Screen Printing or Heat Applied Videoflex (or similar stuff which I will cut out on my plotter.).

Thanks

Kylie

Screen Printing seems to wear once washed quite a few times - Is this general or more depends on the quality of the screen print? I thought that the cut vinyl heat pressed on would last longer? No?

If screen printed right and cured right the print should last a lot longer then the shirt. I have shirts that are over 12 years old that were screen printed and the print still looks good, not great but good.

The difference between screen printing and vinyl pressed on is, with screenprinting, the liquid plastisol bakes into the fiber of the shirt more thoroughly, whereas vinyl has the potential to peel off, especially if done incorrectly.

Admittedly, I don't know much more about the vinyl process than the end result.
