Default Imageclip - excess polymer

I did my first order on white with Imageclip. I had one sheet to test with a couple of weeks ago and didn't know what I was looking for WRT to polymer on the other sheet.

I remember reading a post that someone else was getting flecks but I can't find that post now.

I noticed on this order that I am getting a fair amount of polymar from the other sheet when I press the two of them together. Most of this is then transferred to the shirt.

I need to do an ash order and am a little worried about this.

I lessened the pressure, lowered the temp (208 degrees) and got down to 8 seconds. It was a little better in some cases but still not perfect.

I am using a Geo Knight DK20S. The press has been calibrated to the correct temp.

Thanks!

Diane

I had backed the pressure down but it's a manual knob, so hard to tell!

How much did you increase temp by? Do you have the same press?

Thanks so much!

I HAVE A 15.15 MIGHTY PRESS IT'S MANUAL. TRY THIS TURN TILL U HAVE NO PRESSURE.(TOP JUST SITS DOWN) THEN TURN WITH HALF TURNS ABOUT EIGHT TIMES. TRY THESE WITH MORE OR LESS TURNS IF NECESSARY TILL U GET IT. THEN MARK IT WITH SOMETHING LIKE NAIL POLISH OR WHITE OUT. BUT WAIT TILL U GET THE ONE THAT WORKS FOR U. ALSO PUT TEMP BETWEEN 220 AND 225 THAT'S WHERE MINE IS MORE ON 225 TEN OR 12 SEC.
I HPOE THIS HELPS. U HAVE TO TWEAK IT THEN MARK UR SPOTS.
.

Ya, I have a few markings already. But I can turn my knob completely quite a few times! LOL

I did find some of the spec threads so I'll work from them too.

<fingers crossed>

But so far I am really happy with the paper!
