Default Plastisol best for new starter?

Hi there all, been doing a lot of reading on this fantastic site. Starting up from scratch doing my own designs and I'm on a budget. Seeing as I want to print on 100% cotton and on dark colours I'm limited to either plastisol or screen printing. If I use plastisol (please go ahead and offer ANY other suggestions), I've got a few lovevly "newb" questions for you all.

Lets say I press my main design on the front, and I want to press another design on the back and maybe a tag on the inside. Would I do this seperatley or all together? If I print seperatley will the heat on the existing transfers mess them up?

Really basic question, Im almost afraid to ask. Will a single size transfer be alright for small to xl shirts, or in general do you guys print a different size transfer for each garment size?

Last one, mainly for all the UK guys on here. Are you ordering your plastisol
transfers from the US or the UK? How much are you getting hit for on shipping?

Any suggestions, pointers or if you just want to flame the new guy please jump in

Andy

A regular size adult plastisol transfer is 11x11 . this size fits on on all size shirts with no issue. I think plastisol is the way to go for the screen print look and feel, without the all the mess of doing the prints your self. I use plastisol for all my transfer needs and my customers brag on my work. I never tell them that what method, I use to produce their products. Good luck. ...JB

Cool, that kind of answers another one of my problems which was which press size to get. Any ideas if I can press the transfers in "stages", doing the front, then the back, then the tag inside the collar?

Can someone explain to me what this vinyl transfer is? It sounds like the type that feels like plastic coating on a tee shirt. Are these suddenly "in"?
