Default Plastisol question

I've searched this question and haven't found much in the way of definitive answers, so I'm posting this one. Forgive me if I've missed the answer elsewhere.

I believe my business is going to be geared towards sports boosters and local businesses more than anything else, the way things are going for me. I LOVE it, as sales are sales.

My question (finally) is about Plasitsol transfers.

If I have a design/layout for a shirt and I'm doing a SINGLE color in most cases, will Plastisol allow me to do the shirts without the surrounding material transferring to the shirt the way my laser transfers currently do? I'm looking for the next best thing to a screen printed effect. (I have a vinyl cutter on the way, but the weeding worries me for big orders).

I truly appreciate everyone's expertise and helpfulness here on the forum.

when plastisol transfer placed on garment and pressed they look like screen print. The image will be only the ink from the design and no box area like a inkjet transfer. ..... JB
