Default heat press paper nightmare

I am new to this. I bought a heat press for transfers to make tshirts. I cant seem to get things working. I bought paper from New Millford but my designs seem to crack after washing. Then I bought paper from Neenah and now my designs dont seem to adhease to tshirt or will peal right off. I am using an inkjet printer. I cant start selling until I figure out what I am doing wrong. Please....can anyone help?

What temp and time did you use when pressing the ironall?

Should be 17 seconds at 350 degrees

Try doing it with a higher pressure. Also are you using pigment inks & what brand of heat press do you have?

Would the ink type really affect the transfer paper cracking though? Seems to me that if it's cracking, then it's an issue with the paper and not the inks. BUT...I'm still green, and could be very very wrong here.

with Neenah, it would crack and/or not stick to tshirt when trying to apply it. with new millford, it will usually crack after first washing. I was doing it at 350 degrees for 18 seconds.
