Default Is heatpressing what I need?

Hey everyone..

Me and a friend are currently looking into making a small line of clothes for our own personal and maybe retail use.

I was just wondering if heat pressing shirts or if screen printing was better for me?
I am looking for a solution that would best fit t-shirts similar to:

http://thehundredsstore.3dcartstores.../splatters.jpg
http://thehundredsstore.3dcartstores...lavidaloca.jpg

So what do you guys think?
Thanks so much!

Bvlaar

Those are most likely screen printed, but they could also be done with a heat press and plastisol transfers.

The first would could be done with a heat press and a vinyl cutter, but it's still probably screen printed.

Since you are just starting out...I would buy a heat press and get plastisol transfers...order the transfers, press on the garment...any color, mostly..and presto you have a shirt... see the following link to a thread on this subject with a lot of information..also search the forum for plastisol and see what you come up with. there is a lot of information there
a review of 8 different custom plastisol transfer screen printers - samples followup

Absolutely. If you didn't have that access you might look for alternatives, but blessed day it need not be so
