Default problems with Red ink.

hey whats up everyone? great site, love the discussions goin on in here they've been very help full.

i recently started pressing t's and the only problem i have had is with the red ink on my heat transfers. i am currently using Mc Logan matted ink jet paper. it is really nice and durable paper. i am printing on an HP Photosmart 7450 ink jet printer. i have printed only a few different images. and the first couple images look fine. however, the last image i printed is a design for the baseball team i coach.

it consists of red, white, black and gray. all the other colors look great before the first wash. however, the red color bleeds/fades after the first wash and on some of the shirts it gets worst after a few washes. the other colors however, look great even after washes.

i have been pre-pressing, using medium pressure and 350 deg F for 18 sec. also washing in cold water inside out.

do you have any pointers. thanx. -Nestor
