Default Help with ID'ing Dark Transfer Paper

I recently saw some black shirts with really nice heat transfers on the front. The transfers had matte finish with a slightly rough feel. They looked really nice! Most of the transfers I've seen for darks have a smooth glossy finish. (Which I don't like.) Does anyone know what brand of transfers these might be?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

sounds like it could be plastisol...which is screen printing on a transfer that you can press..you order plastisol transfers from several sources..search plastisol on the forum...Rodney did a great test on several..check it out

Thanks for the reply. I know it wasn't plastisol. I spoke with the guy selling the shirts. He said they use a cutter to trim around the image before pressing, but he didn't know the brand of the transfers.

Are there any ink jet or laser transfers for dark shirts which are not glossy?

Call the paper ranch, they sell something that they use a cutter to trim and press..looked pretty good and also at Long Beach there was a booth...from Power Paper I think..that had a paper for dark that was pretty good..
