how long did it take for them to get back with you after you submitted your art in vector format/"ready to print"?
My first time doing the bitmap to vector with corel, so if everything was ok with the artfile I was hoping to hear something by now or even just a confirmation that it was received. I sent it in on yesterday afternoon.

I would make sure to follow up with them since they would not know to contact you if they didn't receive it.
I've used them and they were typically very good with followup and feedback.

It sometimes takes 2-3 business days before I get a proof from them.

DEFINITELY. If nothing else just to make sure they received it and it's in the hopper. I had a job fall through the cracks once with them, but they cranked it out the same day I called and overnighted at no charge to me.

My First order with them I "fell through the cracks" too.
I sent in my image and didn't hear back for several days, I emailed and was told it went to the art department. I emailed again a few days later and Was referred to a lady who was taking over while the team was at a show. I emailed the image again after chatting with her. few days later I called and emailed the image again, and followed up with a phone call a day ro two later and was told the art was good.
few days later I received my order but was charged to much, something about a new price list between the time I received mine and the time I placed an order. I called and they said they would issue a credit on my next order (in fairness they did offer to send me a check)
The order itself was perfect!
I guess I just hit them during the trade show season.
Bill

First Edition is a great company to work with and their customer service is outstanding. However, they do take a bit longer than other companies, but their prices are usually cheaper. usually when i sent in artwork it is 2 days at least to get the proof back and then anoother 5-7 from there until it ships and then 2-3 from there until I get it, so you are looking at at least 10 days until the art work is received after sending it to them. Makes customer turnaround at least 2 weeks usually.
