a laserjet printer is a oil fuser unit?

I've been searching FYI on laserjet printers . .. but I have to be sure that the printer is a oil fuser unit.
so that I can use the printer for laser transfer paper . .

any help would be much appreciated

If you search this forum some oil fusion printers are frequently pointed out... this narrows your possibilities ;-) nevertheless it can narrow them a bit to much... I get your point because this feature is not mentioned on all spec sheets.

The ONLY sure way is to call the manufacturer and ask them...sometimes you will have to preface your inquiry as a 'prepurchase' question. For the most part most of the entry level HPs are non fuser. Don't take my word as gospel but I think the following are oil based fuser units.
Alps
Brother 26xx (oil), 27xx
HP 35xx, 45xx
Minolta 33xx (oil), 61xx (oil)
Lexmark C510, C720 (oil)
Tally (oil) 8006, 8006e, 8106, 8306, 8406
Xerox DocuColor 12xx (oil)
Copiers:
Canon
Ricoh
Xerox



That is a list of oil fuser units from Autoart.ca site under instructions..posted on upper left of the home page
