Default inkjet transfers cracking

Hello I am having difficulty with my inkjet transfers mainly black. Transfers are cracking and fading. Has any one tried stretch paper from stahls? At this time I am buying paper from coastal business as well as my ink both are what they recommended. Any suggestions?

What's the actual paper you're using? What brand is it? I assume it's opaque paper, right?

paper is coastal business supply inkjet transfer paper for lights. My main problem is with the black ink cracking. I have one design where there is alot of black and after about 4 washes it looks like it is a year old.

Stahls "Inktra Stretch" is the same thing as Coastals Everlast or Ironall.

Try:

Different papers. Transjet II family (aka Magic Jet) or IronAll family (aka Everlast and many other names) are the 2 most used papers.

Different settings. Tweak your time, pressure, and temp. settings around a bit and see if you can get anything to work better. (Just use 1 old mistake shirt repeatedly; use Teflon so the parts already transfered don't stick to the press).
