Several. I think the Epson 1800 would be at the top of my list in that price range.

The epson c88 doesn't need to be converted to do inkjet transfers. It's ready to print transfers right out of the box.

If you want a printer that can go up to 17" wide, you might want to look into an epson 4000 or epson 4800.

C88 great for sub,, just remember that all you can do is8.5x11 or 8.5x14,, I use a 1280 also,, larger transfers can be done with the 1280,, if you can find one,, I think they replaced it with the 1800,, but the c88 is very forgiving as far as ink clogs go..

the epson 1400 is more the replacement for the 1280...both have 6 colors while the 1800 has 8...the 1400 (I just got mine with bulk artainium inks) seems faster. Right now the 1400 has $75 rebate from epson...so cost should be around $325 USD. Getting the artainium profile up and running correctly is a bit of a challegene...only took me 3 hours!!
