 Question about pressing sheets
So for the longest time ive been making my shirts using acrylics pain and textile medium. I bought a new fabric paint that said i had to use a "pressing cloth" to heat set my shirts, a concept unfamiliar to me.
So i ordered a pressing cloth off ebay and it finally came in, but i have the odd feeling i bought the wrong item. Its called the "Pressit steam pressing cloth." It seems that its only meant for steam pressing (obviously), but I was wondering if i could still use it for my purposes.
To be honest, i dont even know what the difference between heat pressing and steam pressing is.
The description says that the pressing cloth is made out of viscose.
Can anyone give me some advise on this? Can I use this cloth or do i need to buy something else.
Im completely lost here as I never used to heat press shirts since they were for personal use, but I have finally started selling them so i want to make sure my shirts come out at the highest quality possible. |
