Default Heat press on shorts

I would like to know if anyone has heat pressed designs on any other material than cotton. I would like to use mesh shorts but was curious if anyone had problems with this>

I have used laser opaque transfers on polyester mesh shorts before. No problem at all, but I started carefully with a lower temperature because I was afraid I'd torch the fabric.

200C for 60 to 70 seconds is the suggested temp and time on cotton shirts for the forever dark opaque transfers that I'm using. If I'm to use the same transfers on polyester mesh shorts, I'd press for 50 seconds at 160C, then I'd check if the transfers has adhered completely.
