Default Milford light transfer paper

I have been using roll transfer paper from coastal to do light t shirts, I changed to Milfords so I can get 13 x19 sheets, I am using Epson 1280 printer, when I use the Milford paper it says for matte finish to peel warm, I want matte finish, when I try peel warm it pulls up whole transfer, when I peel cooler it is glossy. Also colors are not even close to the same. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have any suggestions other than waiting for Coastal paper to come in, I need to have shirts done by tomorrow.

I wrote this post and I need to correct it. I think the problem with the transfer paper was the fact that it had been delivered by Fed Ex that day and had set in the sun (102 degrees) later in the evening I tried it again and while it does have a heavy hand I did like the way it worked and looked. My apologies

Gina, when you peel warm you might try rubbing the back of the transfer with a soft cloth for a few seconds before peeling to prevent the transfer from sticking to the sheet. Most people seem to prefer the IronAll transfer paper from New Milford which is a hot peel paper. Hope this helps.
