Default Heat press question on how to use?

Hello I am getting ready to buy a heat press and I was wandering if you just put the shirt on the press and do you need any certain sheet to cover the transfrer or just put the transfer on and push the lid down and press the transfer on. sorry really new at this so dont laugh. and I am hoping the heat press comes withinstructions on how long to press and what temp. I am looking to buy one from imprintables maybe. I am needing a reasonable heat press so I thought I would start there. Thanks

Each transfer you use should come with specific temperature and time settings. It will vary from transfer to transfer.

You don't have to, but many people recommend using a teflon sheet to go between the transfer and the press to help prevent any residue or scorching. Read more here: Teflon sheets: what are they used for and how?
