I purchased an 11x15 heat press from BooZ back in 2005 and it really works well, however since I have used it a lot my heat platen, springs or shock thingys aren't as taught as they used to be. In other words sometimes my platen won't stay up on it's own. Is there a way this can be repaired (BTW I live in the metro Atlanta area and would prefer to have it repaired locally if possible)?

for most heat press parts, you will need to contact the manufacturer. Have you contacted Boo-Z? They are normally quite helpful to forum members
