Sometimes when I peel the backing off of the transfer (after it's been pressed to the shirt) it will leave an outline on the shirt. Why is this? Too much pressure, too much heat?
Is this a hot peel or a cold peel paper. That might make the difference. Maybe you should peel the paper while it is still warm from the press. Just a thought?

Yes, that's probably it. Cause some of the shirt fabric sticks to the backing. And it does seem worse when I do it with a cold peel. I'll try it tonight when I get out of my day job. Working for someone else sucks!
Are you talking about the outline of the press or are you taliking about the print itself.
When you press you will leave an outline but this will go away after the tee cools down, sometimes. I usually press the tee befor my customers get them. This removes any outline caused by the press. The hot peel paper I use lets me iron over the design with out sticking.. (Iron All). If your talinking about the design then you need to cut as close the design as you can. On white shirts the outline is almost completly invisable but on colors like ash an natural which I just did it will show. Hope that helps. Lou
