Some things to note about my business:

It's fashion, for women, and I don't see that or my design preferences changing.

I DO want to be friendly to plus-sized women, but other than that no oversized shirts EVER. I mean I don't want to endorse disgustingly tight/short baby tees, either, to be fair. (And I don't like sheer, but that's irrelevent, just saying. Sheer is so common now. Well maybe not for graphic tees, which is nice.)

Oh and I DO see myself eventually going into maternity tees, but I don't think the chest area is THAT much bigger than on the without child. (And if I designed for the stomach, it could be small.)

I don't see myself doing large designs. They're not even stretching out to the armpits or anything. I don't even want to do too many that fit across the whole chest, I envision a bit of a left-alignment.

I don't even see large orders as a realistic possibility for any kind of "near" future, at all. I sell knit wear, and I'm realistic about how the web works, as I've also ran many websites, and customers don't just come flocking to you within that first year. Certainly if I ever am able to large orders (and actually, how does a bigger press help that?) I'd be making some money off of it and could upgrade.

I will not be doing team jerseys (just for the record).

I don't see pressing multiple items at once as a real decision-making benefit. I mean for me in particular. The items would probably then be small, but I can't think of what they'd be. OK dog tees, I WILL do dog tees. Still I'd be afraid to mess up multiples at once or something, although when I get around to that, I'll know what I'm doing (god willing).

Maybe I don't understand what this means, but I won't be ordering pre-maede designs, I'll be designing everything to be original.

Now also note this:

Lining up and centering help wouldn't be bad at all.

And the idea of digital does sound much better to me.

And I do want to go used.

Now I think I do want to go with heat pressing over silk screening (that's what my circle calls it) because I will rarely do a few colours, and often do a lot. Plus I want to start making very few and keep costs down.

I think that's enough information, now as you might be able to tell, I'm kind of trying to argue FOR SMALLER than 15" x 15".

And how wide is a juniors tee anyway? :-)

OK I just measured across my bust (from a determined point to the other) and I wouldn't do more than 8" wide on my frame.

Would this work for most women size medium?

I think 15 x 15 is a good size for what you're talking about.

It's possible a smaller press would work, but I think 15x15 sounds better for what you're trying to do.
