Default Newbie, help! Need to print custom shirts on demand!

Please help, need your wisdom! If you were going to take your new t-shirt company on the road and print custom shirts on demand as customers wait, what are your best options, let's say your starting from scratch. It's a matter of good quality vs. a quick turn over. Which transfers are the best for this? Which look the best and are less likely to jam up in the printer? Just like everyone, It needs to be as economical as possible. Is there any real hope for decent dark transfer paper yet. I actually don’t mind the plastic look (it’s kinds vintage and hip looking) as long as it can hold up in the washer and dryer. Sorry if I'm asking too many question in one post. Thanks in advance for any advice.

sounds like you are a good candidate for reading the threads that have been posted...so we don't go over and over...lots of stuff out there.

On paper for dark fabrics...jury is still out although there maybe some hope around the corner. I am going to NBM show in Long Beach this week and if there is any new paper out there...they will have a presence at that show..but so far I have not heard of anything...maybe around late Sep or so there could be some new developments - who knows...

I've been reading for a couple weeks now and will definitely continue to do so, lots of great information. I haven't found too much info on the best options for a quick turn over for custom on demand shirts. Any links or advice? Thanks!
