Default Need a 16 x 20 Heat Press (Within the UK)

Basically people the most important piece of equipment i require right now is a heat press, i want to be heating materials onto large sections of t-shirts so ive decided to go with a 16 x 20 heat press.

Looking at all the brands on the forum i like the look of the PhoenixPhire 16x20 however i cant seem to find any UK retailers who sell it (or anything like it).

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the help

Thanks for the reply rodney.

After looking at all UK sites the only thing i can seem to find are these two presses. Wondered if people can give there opinions on them and the prices offered?

That press looks like my 16x20 Phoenix Phire. I think it might be manufactured by the same company (Stahls). If so, it's a good press.

I think equipment, supplies are generally more expensive in the UK from what I've seen.

Both presses are made from a quality manufacturer.

The blue press just has a few less features (no automatic open release, no magnetic lock when you close the press).

From coastalbusiness.com it appears i can get the following for $3,068.85 delivered.

Roland GX-24 Vinyl Cutter
16 x 20 Auto Opening Digital Press
16 x 20 Teflon Bottom Table Wrap
18 x 20 Teflon Cover Sheet

What you think of this Rodney? In the UK it would cost me around £1000 for just the heatpress but for £1500 i can get the vinyl cutter and teflon products included.

Also, what vinyl would you reccomend i order with the above, to get me started? So i can get a feel for things.

Thanks for the help

The vinyl I use is from a company called Victory Design, they have Easimark cotton which is really easy to weed and nice and thin on the shirt with good colours. I also tried Econofilm which I think is made by Stahls and I personally hated it, really thick and a nightmare to weed smaller stuff.

Delivered to the UK? If you're 100% sure the shipping charges are correct, then it sounds like a good deal.

You can even get a discount from Coastal for being a T-ShirtForums member.

Throw in the low US dollar, and it sounds like it might be worth it to get it from a reliable US supplier like Coastal.

It looks like the packages they sell come with some vinyl, so that should be a good amount to get you started with.

Yeh ive considered the import duty, however i think even with that it would still be saving me money when considering buying the products within the UK.

Ive got loads of converters so the power won’t be a problem.

Just so you know, You can not use a travel adaptor for a time period longer than 14 days. If you leave it longer it becomes a criminal offence. Also importing all of that from America the total cost should be £1871.00 including VAT and duties, Still considerably cheaper than the UK price.
