Default Heat Press Warranty Questions:

I'm in the market to buy a heat press, I noticed most brands come with 1 year on components, and life time on heating element.

May I know what exactly is the heating element? For example, if some how the hot plate is not heated evenly, is that a heating element problem? Has any of you needed heating element repair before, how likely will that happen?

The reason I ask is because found this cheap press with only 6 months warranty (of some sort). Wonder how long it will last.

Thanks.

It is from a reputable company. The warranty sucks. Price is great for a startup.. Just don't know on this one. Look like a might press except for the pressure knob being where it is. I am sure some of the other folks will have an opinion.

I agree you get what you pay for. If you buy a cheap press, then chances are it will not be as good as a name brand press.I suggest if you can't afford a new name brand press, buy a used one to start with..... JB
