Question Need Southwest Ready Made Transfers.

Hi I am a newbie..
My name is Peter and I live in Santa Fe New Mexico.
My boss wants me to start up making printed t shirts for his retail business here in Santa Fe.
So I am doing the reserch on this project.
I would say our buddget is between 3 to 5 thousand dollars to get it off the ground.

I think we will go with the
Item Number:DK20S

Geo Knight Digital Knight 16x20 Swinger

Heat press.

Any comments will be appreciated.

I also need sources for Transfers already made up in Southwest designs for our tourist customers...

a source for t shirts and sweat shirts.

Also any other ideas you might have.

As this is my first posting I do not know if I am allowed to tell you all where you can visit me if you happen to find yourself in Santa Fe.
So I will not give any info on this.

I am lookinf forward to some good replies.
Thanks a million.
Peter Santa Fe.

Hi Peter, welcome to the T-Shirt Forums.

If you have a sellers permit, you can get wholesale pricing on t-shirt and sweatshirt blanks from distributors like SanMar.com and AlphaShirt.com

Try proworldinc.com to see if they have any preprinted southwestern transfers.

Hi Peter, I have a DK20S. Warning...it is really heavy. So heads up on shipping, freight, lift charges and needing someone to help unload/set-up. I think its 240 lbs with pallet. It is tried-and-true heat press. I did see that Hix just came out with 16 x 20 swing that is half the weight, about same price. I'm not an "early adaptor" so usually go with industry standard equipment, etc. for pricey purchases.

As for Southwest designs...you are in a state with so many artists....surely
there are some starving artists that could sell you some original designs.
Try Google for "Southwest clipart" and you'll see a bunch of hits in case you want to print your own or send out for Plastisol.
