Too good too be true? - plastisol heat tranfers for 6 bucks a shirt?
Being new to this I wanted some feedback from everyone on whether this is good, normal, or too good to be true.
I found a place in my neighborhood that does plastisol heat tranfers for 6 bucks a shirt, and I can print just the one shirt, and I can bring my own. Six bucks is the price if I bring a shirt, they said it would be more if I didn't. So does this sound about right or not?

Are you sure it's plastisol?
Did they ask you how many colors in your design?
I don't know of any plastisol places that allow you to print just ONE.
It *sounds* too good to be true, but that doesn't mean it isn't true.
Generally, plastisol transfers are based on how many colors are in your design and how many you buy. There are exceptions of course, but it doesn't sound like they are quoting you for plastisol.
Re: Too good too be true? - plastisol heat tranfers for 6 bucks a shirt?
could it be possible they are using those tuffcut papers which if i remember correctly are plastisol and are used with a cutter then you weed. Dont quote me on this i may be wrong
Re: Too good too be true? - plastisol heat tranfers for 6 bucks a shirt?
yeah, I would like to know what happens if you ask for more thean one color. I bet it is cut plastisol sheets. You could do a nice business doing those if you customers just wanted one color.

Rodney i think hes talking about tuff cutt paper which I believe can be cut woith a cutter, basically a plastisol covered paper and only what ever is going to be printed gets cutout, like Lou said its only one color. Dont quote me on this but im pretty sure from reading through different threads that this is how these papers work, I think Lou or someone who is deep in the heat press world can answer this bette if im wrong.
