Default Vinyl or inkjet transfer

Which do you prefer, inkjet transfers or vinyl transfers? what are the advantages an disadvantages of each?

They are good for many reasons. I use vinyl for one color designs that will be worn alot and the customer will expect it to hold up and look good. I use inkjrt fo bags and photos.i tell the customer that there will be some fading involved with the inkjet. ...JB

They both are good ... and u can make money with both ... vinyl last a lot longerrrrrr.....

If possible, you should be able to offer both process to your customers.

What type of designs will you be doing? Are you selling your own designs (like your own t-shirt line) or doing designs for others?

Overall, I think vinyl will be higher quality than inkjet transfers, but there's just some things a vinyl transfer won't do (like a photograph).

I think as you read more about vinyl transfers and what they are and inkjet transfers and what they are, you'll be able to see why you would use one over the other at different times.
