Hello out there,
I am considering buying a screen printer or a heat press. But before I do, I would like to get an idea of how long a heat press transfer will last. Does anyone out there know how many washings a typical shirt will last?

Hi Dave, welcome to the forums. There are several types of transfers. Ink Jet- transfers are not the same quality of screen printing. Sublimation- a very vivid colorful image that can only be printed onto polyester.Plastisol-is the best quality transfer.These are actually screen printed and then can be applied to garment through heat pressing. In my opinion this is the best option to start with. You can have transfers made and print your garments as you need them and be able to deliver the best quality. ...... JB
