Default Dark Transfers

I am using IW Inkjet for Darks from Imprintables. I am following the instructions, I cut around design, peel it away from backing, used heavy pressure, let it cool down, but can not peel away the white part to leave design. I need HELP!

When you say "White part" do you mean the extra sheet that you get that protects/covers the design for pressing? Or are you refering to the actual white part that you are printing onto, cause if that is what you are talking about - it doesn't come off. That is how the ink adheres to the shirt.

Yes, I am talking about the that does not come off. I found out that you must use vinyl to print on a dark t-shirt or custom Plasitol

No you can use transfer paper for dark colors, you know with dark transfer paper you don't mirror the image and you peel it off the sheet before you press.White side down picture up.Hope this helps

if u mean the white part as oin the excess design, u might need to trim the design before proceeding.

This is what I am talking about: I have a black shirt and all I want to print on the shirt in Orange letters is Booker T. Washington High School 50th Class Reunion. However on a dark, since you don't peel or mirror, the white part in back of the print still shows. Yes I do cut around the design prior to pressing. In essence any dark t-shirt is vinyl or a custom plasitol, right?

I am learning so much. I am always looking at t-shirts now and touching them.

Unless you cut up right to the edge of the letters, you are going to have white space. The other options would be vinyl or plastisol for a small order, if you are doing a lot then you would probably be better off getting them screen printed.
