Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I am new to this forum and to shirt making. My wife and I are looking into making t shirts on a weekend basis ie: fairs. weekend car shows, ect. I know nothing about making shirts at all.
I am thinking of vinyl heat press ons? I want to make small signs and car tags as well.
Is there a DVD or something we can learn with? and what is the best equipments for us to buy on a small, getting started budget.
Sorry for all the questions, just don't know where to start
Welcome to the forums Chris!
Are you going to be doing your own designs for the t shirts? Did you want to do vinyl for the designs as well?
I have not seen a video for vinyl info but if you were looking into heat transfer then Badalou, forum member, has some really good videos to see for that.

Chris
You might want to contact Josh with Imprintables Warehouse for a package deal on a vinyl cutter, sign cut software and a heatpress.

Chris, I think you need to read all you can about the different process' and then decide how you wish to proceed.I advise you to educate yourself on the equipment, types of apparel decoration. This will allow you to get a better handle on how to proceed.Good luck. ....JB
I agree with JB take a couple days reading through the forums or online and educate yourself about different methods of printing and the equipment. You dont want to spend money on something you dont know how to use or idea of how it works before you even get it.
