Default c88 color settings

I have read a post here, that changing the yellow setting to -25 will give a richer black. Will this adversly effect the yellow in an image. I will be printing on Iron - all. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanx in advance, MIKE

Default Re: c88 color settings

It hasn't for me; yellows still look fine at -15 for me.

Basically, Durabrite inks have a tendency to color shift to yellow or green when pressed. This is most noticeable (or was for me, at least) in thin black lines and in full-color photographs (oddly not in rainbow lettering). Usually a good place to start is -15 Yellow, +5 Cyan, +5 Magenta and adjust further if necessary.
