I think the problem is mainly caused by toner/ink not fusing properly on the transfer paper. Try a different media setting such as heavy or extra heavy paper when printing.

Hi
I have had similar problems on my canon clc700, best way to avoid it happening is to tweak the colours in your designs, toner on toner causes the problem.
I make the black out of 100% black, 20% cyan, 20% magenta and 20% yellow, this is much more stable.
A lot of artwork we get has such high percentages of each colour that the printer cannot cope with them stacking on top of each other, this then causes them not to fuse properly!
cheers
Tony

Give Alpha Suppy a call and talk to Roy. He and Jack both know their products well and can usually talk you through any problems you are having. (Jack handles more of the Sales part of the business.)

I have been very impressed with the level of customer service these two gentlemen provide, both before and after the sale. I sure if you call, they will do what they can to help you solve the problem.

Hi Lou! Yes, most of the laser opaque transfers can tolerate higher fuser temperatures, and can also be used for the "smaller" color laser printers (non-CLC). I also know of some people who have tried Forever inkjet-dark with their inkjet printers and they are quite satisfied with the results.
