I am about to buy a heat press and found one locally on craigslist. It looks like a generic model and since I don't know that much about presses I thought I should ask. I will be pressing about 10-50 shirts a week. The press is one year old. I can get it for half of a new press and probably will unless you guys tell me otherwise.

This is what is listed:

15” x 15” heat platen

Hi BlueHouse,
After much thought and discussion on this board, I also recently bought a generic press that looks very much like the one in your pic. It also has the same size plates and features as well..
I tried it out and I was very impressed with the results. I am also a newbie at this but I thought for the price I paid it's worth it. Comes with a three year guarantee as well so if anything goes wrong no charge for parts or labour.
In my opinion, I would say go for it but thats just me!

I think it will do as long as it works well.I personally don't think spending more money for things is always better or not for me anyway...(I don't keep up with the Jones just a saying)

I had a bad experience with a generic press. I alwways advise people to stay away.Good luck..... JB
