 About to jumpp into the t-shirt biz
After reading lots of information on this site and more, i am just very confused in the inks and paper area. I would like to get a c88 (because I am cheap, not knocking the quality of the c88 it is just the lowest cost for what I am looking for) and understand I can do the sublimation but have heard that it does not do well on cotton. I would probably mainly be working with cotton and saw that colorblast? was good for that, which I have seen there are inks for the c88 for that also.
So the question is would the c88 be good to print both kinds of inks? I think I saw both have cis also. would I need special paper for each ink type? with sublimation do you need a special coating on the t-shirt to make the transfer, ie like you do with the mugs? what I want to know is can you do sublimation to the front, back, and sleeves of the shirt. The idea is to provide a quality shirt that will stay in good shape after several washings. not too conserned with cracking over time. |
