Where Can I Buy a Refillable Cartridge for an R1800?
Does anybody know where I can buy a refillable cartridge for an R1800?
I found some on ShopDyeSub.com, but they only have them in a set of 8 on their website, and I just need 1. There is no ph# to call them (which is a red flag for me) and they haven't answered an email yet.
I emailed them and he told me that if you put just 1 refillable cart in with 7 factory cartridges, that it won't work and the printer will give an error. Is this true, or are they just trying to make me buy 8 of them? I've used a bulk system for black ink where it's just one bulk cartridge mixed in with 7 factory carts, and it worked fine. I don't know why a refillable cart would be any different.

Well that makes sense you would only want the one then. I'd see if they will sell you the one cart, I guess I can try to see if just one refill cart will work with the other factory carts and let you know.

ShopDyeSub.com has not answered my email in over week. And that's the only contact information on their website. There is no ph#. Clearly they do not want to be bothered by their customers. I'd really be in trouble if I had a problem with something I bought from them.

i heard a rumor that there is a problem do to them selling dyesub ink.Sawgrass has a patent on dyesub ink technology and has a strangle hold on the market.this could be the reason. I have a number for them, but I was reffered to Refill Cartridges - T-Shirt Press - Epson ink - Canon Ink. I hope this helps....JB

Then you would think they would really need my business since I'm just trying to buy an empty cartridge. But I guess not. I'm going to try the one Mary suggested.

I was just passing in the info. They might have more pressing problems and the sale of 1 cartidge isn't really that big of a deal in the whole scope of their problems. The owner is also is a missionary and could be out reach do to his committment to a higher power. I'm not trying to be flip with you, I'm just looking at both sides from outside the box. Good luck and I hope your idea of 1 cartridge works and please let us know either way..... JB

Thanks for the update. It must have been very recent. Interesting. That is the third (to my knowledge) small company that they have bought out. And the beat goes on.
