Default Dirty Press

Do any of you guys clean your press.....if so how do you clean it...

I just looked under my press... the heat plate...
(I have a Geo Knight swing away 12x14)

and the plate has all these burn marks on it, and lines.

Do your press have that?

My shirts come out clean.
