Default Phoenix Phire warm up - how long does it take your heat press to preheat?

I just used my 16 x 20 Phoenix Phire press for the first time. It took about 10 minutes to warm up to 210 and 10-15 more minutes to reach 380. Are these the normal times?

Thanks,
Randy

Can I ask if this is typical of some of the top line heatpress manufacturers - Hix, Hotronix, Geo Knight, MightyPress, etc? I was very surprised to read this post about the time - I expect my business will be doing one-off printing for the most part which is why I ask.

Thanks,
Mike

My 15x15 Mighty Press takes about that long to reach 375. Maybe a little shorter wait.

Yep, mine also takes as long. Even longer now that I've moved it into the basement (don't know if it's a power difference or temperature difference)

My Hotronix 16" x 20" swing away takes a lot time too. I'v owned a mighty press clam, a swing away and also the phoenix phire and they all time to heat up it's standard to have to wait a few minutes. The times you stated are about right.

My china brand does'nt take a lot of time to heat up! I'm using it more often than my auto-open hotronix.

I have 2 hotronix 16x20 swingers and a knight 16x20 swinger. All are 20 minutes plus. Not quite sure what you were hoping for in warm up time. There is no machine out there that will get to 375+ in less than 15 minutes.....Sorry.
