Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
We are getting ready to purchase numbers and letters for our upcoming sports tournaments. Is pre-cut letters and numbers the way to go? We are looking to buy pre-cut individual letters unless the cost difference between pre-cut and sheet lettering is dramatically different. We are only pressing letters, numbers and transfers at sporting events. Do we have any need to purchase a vinyl cutter? Thanks for any suggestions!
If you have a vinyl cutter the alignment would be easier. If you go with individual letters you will need to align them each on the garment. A cutter would be much easier. Good luck. .... JB
I'm glad you asked this question because we're thinking of doing the same thing. My question is this. Keeping in mind that we'd only be doing letters & numbers what would be the ideal cutter for this. I would imagine we wouldn't need the fanciest most versatile (expensive) machine out there. What machine would yall recommend. Also is there a machine that doesn't need a pc hooked up to it.
Our 1st order went to Dalco Lettering. 2" black letters .06 bags of 10, 2" black #'s .09 bags of 10 and 8" Letters .34 bags of 10. Hope this helped you out...delivery went out the same day! All items are pre-cut.
