Hey man i have been pressing hats for awhile now and I love it which is why im trying to get into shirts. I buy my hats from a nationwide source but they have a local shop here in fortworth.
Nissin corp. You can sublimate hats if you get the right kind of fabric from them, and they should have some as long on you know what kinds of fabrics you can sublimate on. Your choices will be limited but as soon as you can pick up another(seperate) printer for transfer ink (pigmented) you will have allot of choices open to you.
You cannot transfer on 6 panel caps unless it is a seamless front design. You can order them from
Nissin corp model number 99107. They run 2.00 a cap or $16 for a dozen. They just put them on the product line and have I not had a chance to use them but they look like they will work nice. The only problem that I foresee is that your printable area will be less on the sides and that might hinder a few images but for the most part should be ok.
I have not tried them out YET but there is another hat and shirt provider
