transfer paper: copy of the image in yellow on the liner after pressing?
I have mighty press 15x15 and epson cx6000 with durabrite.. Almost every time I peel the liner off the shirt after pressing I have a copy of the image in yellow(sometimes other colors also, but usually yellow) on the liner. It happens on different papers i was trying.Maybe temp or printer settings? Any Suggestions?
I was getting that same result from the c-88. I checked out the archives here and found a formula others had tried. By reducing the yellow and increasing the other colors in the printers software, you may be able to eliminate the problem.
Im printing on white shirts. The transfers still look good. I was just wondering if something was wrong or its normal.
Also, my mighty press 15x15 clam is very noisy due to springs and its still new. Is this normal?
Re: transfer paper: copy of the image in yellow on the liner after pressing?
its more than likely a normal occurence. my c88 does the same thing even with the ink settings fixed so it doesnt dump yellow ink all over the place. i wouldnt worry too much about it.
Re: transfer paper: copy of the image in yellow on the liner after pressing?
I get yellow left on the transfers on my new epson c88+. I went with -25 yellow +10 on cyan and majenta and -25 on saturation and on photo mode. I cut my ironall transfers in half. I did a test on 10 different settings in the printer software. Its the printer not the transfer as it does not do this on my hp 970. Joe
