Bought a new c88+ from comp usa 2 weekends ago for $65.00. My first sheet of 24# paper munched. So I taped 8 pieces of 8.5 x 11 chipboard together for a a backer in the hopper and ran some ironall through it and worked great. Stock settings it does want to print a little heavy on the yellow tint. All have to do search for what others are doing for the settings. Joe
I hope this isn't stupid but what is chipboard and what is the hopper. Thanks

Chipboard is the thick brown paper used for paper tablet backing. The hopper is where you put the unprinted paper. The epson holds like 75 to 100 sheets. The paper needs to be little closer to the feed rollers. Joe
Thank you for info on chipboard and hopper had never heard of it before.
You wouldn't happen to know what it is for the CX5000 which is the epson all in one would you Thanks

I've noticed the same thing. A few people here have commented about thair paper getting eaten by the C88+. I had one sheet get a little ruffed up and did a similar thing. I just grabbed a stack of regular paper and put that in the tray as well as the transfer paper. I think it helps keep it locked in.

The same settings should work if the CX5000 uses Durabrite ink, which I think it does. Start there, and adjust as necessary (e.g. if it's still too yellow, try -20).
